Water Conservation

Living in California has been difficult with the earthquakes, wildfires, and lack of rain. Even though statistics say that there is no longer a drought, it's still a good idea to conserve water. Here are some tips to help you conserve water.
Tip #1: Pay Attention To Faucets
Not only is this a great way to help you save water, but it also helps you save money. Leaving faucets on can be a huge waste of water. Be considerate on how much water you need.
Tip #2: Cut Your Shower Time
The average American uses about 17 gallons of water in around 8 minutes while showering. It is best to take a shower that's at least 5 minutes or less. A great way to time your shower is to take a "one song shower" since the average song is about 3-5 minutes long.
Tip #3: Fix Leaking Pipes
The sooner you spot a leak, the sooner it can get fixed. A leaking pipe can waste about 5 gallons of water to 2,000 a year. Not only are wasting water and money, but this can also lead to water damage.
