SERVPRO of Westminster values the safety of our customers and our community.
Here are some tips for staying safe!
1. Make sure to prepare your home before wildfire season
Keeping your home safe is very important in order to reduce possible damage. You can prepare your home by removing dried lives, cleaning the gutters, or removing any dry flammable objects from the premises.
2. Make a family plan
Making a family plan including every member in your household will keep you and others more organized. Watching a fire weather watch to track the movement of the fires will also keep you aware of what is going on. Your family plan should also include packing all supplies necessary for long periods of time in case of an evacuation.
3. Evacuate when ordered to
If you think you may be in an area that will be ordered to evacuate, you can leave early and get ahead of the traffic.
Once evacuation is ordered, leave immediately. Don’t linger or wait to leave — get your family and pets to the evacuation route as quickly as you can.
